Paul Wolk Learning Center

The Paul Wolk Learning Center is a component of East House Career Services that helps those in recovery improve their education to increase job placement and advancement. In collaboration with the Greece Central School District, which provides teacher services for 15 hours per week, the Learning Center offers basic reading and math education, GED preparation, referrals to schools/skills training programs and follow-along support. There is also a focus on computer skills training which takes place at the computer lab’s 14 computer stations.
Paul Wolk Learning Center tutors work to establish the connection between educational achievement and self-sufficiency. Educational techniques are designed to effectively teach adult learners with a mixture of group work and independent learning.
The Paul Wolk Learning Center is funded wholly by donations.
